Student Administrative Services
Student Administrative Services (SAS) provides students with quality administrative support whilst promoting the academic programs of students and enhancing their educational experience at UNSW Canberra.
They can help answer any questions you might have about admission, scholarships, enrolment, research candidature and graduation.

Free counselling support is available on campus for all currently enrolled UNSW Canberra students (for both civilian students and ADFA trainee officers).This free of charge service with a qualified professional clinical psychologist (student counsellor), is designed to support students work through challenges, navigate change, and regain balance. All enrolled UNSW Canberra undergraduate students are entitled to counselling sessions.
What kind of assistance is provided?
- Academic or training pressures;
- Time management, including balance between study, training, employment, and family life;
- Confidence issues;
- Motivation or procrastination problems;
- Adjustment to living in a new location, a new lifestyle, as well as cultural transitions;
- Stresses relating to fieldwork, study, or training;
- Decision making and important life choices;
- Emotional challenges, such as apprehension, sadness, and loneliness
- Health concerns for self or a family member;
- Concerns relating to supervision, colleagues, or professional personnel;
- Relationship and/or family issues; and
- Apprehensive future thinking.

Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
The Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Office is a highly confidential environment where students are welcome to seek support and discuss options for resolution of concerns about Equity matters, including:
- Advice and referral for students on Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, flexible study and wellbeing matters
- Advice and support for reasonable adjustments
- Management of a range of Equity and Diversity initiatives, projects, events and activities for students
- Co-ordination of UNSW Canberra’s Equity, Diversity and inclusion Committee and Equity plan

Online study at UNSW is often one component of campus-based learning and teaching. When used this way, the online activities and resources are there to support and complement other course components such as lectures and practicals. For example, you might be required to take part in online tutorial discussions or collaborate with fellow students in an online small-group project.
Regardless of your mode of study, it's important to make the most of the online components of your course. Moodle is an open-source learning management system that is used to deliver blended and online courses throughout UNSW.
Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS)
Information Communication and Technology Services (ICTS) is the central Information Technology provider for the whole UNSW Canberra campus.
ICTS is a member of the Student and Academic Support Group (SASG) which provides client focused support for the teaching, research, training and administration needs of UNSW Canberra.
Information and Communications and Technology Services is of critical importance to the University in the support of academic enquiry and research, teaching and learning, core business activities and communications. In recognition of this, UNSW Canberra provides computing, email, Internet and communication facilities to its staff and students for the purposes of research, teaching and learning and to support the administration of the University.

Indoor Sports Centre and Clubs
As a undergradaute non-defence student you will have access to a state of the art sports facility that includes a gym and indoor pool.
In addition, a range of sporting and extra curricular clubs are offered by ADFA to undergraduate non-defence students (subject to application and ADFA approval).
