Sameh received his Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Alexandria Univeristy, Egypt in 2000, his Master of Science from Alexanrdia University, Egypt in 2006 and his PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Univeristy of New Brunswick, Canada in 2013. 

After finishing his PhD, he worked as Postdoctoral fellow in a joint project between the University of New Brunswick and Cornell University.

Sameh has the opportunity to gain industrial experience. He worked as a Senior Automation Engineer (Amriya Pharmaceutical Ind) from 2002 to 2007 and as a Research and Development Engineer (University of New Brunswick and C-Therm Technologies) from 2014 to 2015.

Sameh joined the High Frequency Group, School of Engineering and Information Technology at University of New South Wales, Canberra in March 2015.

Sameh is a member of  IEEE, MTT-S. He is also a registered Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada.
