Lindsay Clark is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow as part of the ‘New Technologies and Ethics of War’ project in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, UNSW Canberra. She completed her ESRC funded doctoral research at the University of Birmingham (UK). Lindsay used the sociological methodology of Haunting to trace the shapes of gender in the development of the novel military technologies of armed drones. Her postdoctoral projects look at the experiences of British Reaper crews and their families, drawing on feminist and gender theorising to situated these individuals within the complex social structures that they inhabit. Lindsay’s general research interests include gender and feminist theorising, critical security studies, and creative methodologies.
