Adam P. Henry is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Australian Centre for Cyber Security (ACCS) at the University of New South Wales Canberra and an Australian chapter lead for the Cybersecurity Workforce Alliance (CWA).

The 18th of July 2017 marked 50 years since the second vice-chancellor of UNSW, Professor Sir Philip Baxter, signed an association agreement with the Navy for the delivery of UNSW first year courses at the RAN College, Jervis Bay and with the Army for an affiliation with RMC Duntroon that led to the formation of the Faculty of Military Studies.

Australian Naval History, an innovative video and podcast series, returns for a second series on January 30.

The podcast was launched in October by UNSW Canberra's Naval Studies Group, in partnership with the Australian Naval Institute, the Royal Australian Navy Seapower Centre, the Naval Historical Society and the Submarine Institute of Australia.

"It is hoped through this initiative we, as a society, can learn from past conflicts while at the same time preserving history," UNSW Canberra Professor John Arnold says.

UNSW Canberra Space has captured the first image of our satellite, the Buccaneer, in orbit.

UNSW Canberra Space Director Professor Russell Boyce said this shot was "taken against star streaks with our Falcon space surveillance tracking telescope”.

Professor Boyce said the double image of the satellite was caused by orbital elements.
